Ngong police have arrested a man accused of raping multiple women in the Vet Farm area over the past two years.
According to police, the suspect – identified as a former Nairobi County inspectorate officer and resident of Embulbul – was arrested on Wednesday. Officers say they recovered a facemask, handcuffs, and other items believed to have been used in the attacks.
Investigators allege the man targeted picnicking couples and religious pilgrims. In several cases, he is accused of handcuffing the male companion before dragging the woman into a nearby thicket and assaulting her.
Ngong Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Jacob Ndunda has appealed to potential victims to report to Ngong Police Station for identification and further investigations.
“We believe there may be more survivors. Your cooperation is crucial for justice,” he said, urging the public to help bring the suspect to account.
Police announced that the suspect remains under arrest as investigations continue.
