Nigerian Cleric Issues Fresh Warning to Ruto Over Opposition Moves and Public Unrest | BossNana International Radio

Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele issued another warning about Kenya, telling President William Ruto to watch the growing political pressure from protests and a strengthening opposition that could shake his government.

In a statement released on Tuesday, June 16, through the media office of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church leader, Ayodele said Kenya now enters a politically sensitive phase defined by clashes between the government and opposition groups.

“Kenya: The country will face many challenges, especially for the president. The opposition will try to see whether it can use a shocking strategy against Ruto. If Ruto does not take care, these protests will bring down his government,” Ayodele said.

He also warned that opposition leaders plan to adopt fresh political tactics to challenge Ruto’s authority, adding that the situation as it develops could change Kenya’s political path.

He also said both the government and opposition should handle the situation with care, warning that any misstep by either side could worsen national tensions and undermine stability.

Ayodele further delivered a security warning, urging people to pray against what he described as a possible plane disaster. He added that Kenya should stay alert to sudden shocks.

“If the opposition isn’t firm enough, Ruto will do everything to mess them up completely. The opposition will come up with new ideas to fight Ruto, and he must get ready. They must pray against a plane disaster.”

His comments follow earlier “prophecies” from April, when he warned that Kenya could face stronger political pressure linked to opposition coalition-building efforts.

In that earlier message, he said a united opposition front could pose the biggest threat to Ruto’s political hold, especially if divided groups manage to come together before the next elections.

He also warned that political rifts within the government could heighten tensions, adding that some of the pressure the administration faces may come from inside, not just from opposition forces.

Ayodele further cautioned that upcoming economic policy changes could spark public anger, arguing that new reforms might lead to fresh claims of corruption and financial instability.

Even so, he said Ruto’s political position could still strengthen if opposition groups stay split, and he noted that opposition unity will largely shape the results of future elections.

The cleric also expanded his prophecy to other African countries, including South Sudan, the DRC, Zambia, and Gambia, where he warned of major political instability.
