The Linda Mwananchi campaign is kicking back into gear after a short break. Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna announced that the team will hold public events in several major towns to mobilize support.
The tour starts in Narok this Sunday, March 22, moves to Nairobi on Friday, March 27, and concludes in Mombasa on Sunday, March 29.
“We are back. On the road, online, everywhere. This Sunday after the first mass, let’s meet in Narok. Friday, March 27, Nairobi. Sunday, March 29, let’s meet in Mombasa,” Sifuna said.
Sifuna encouraged supporters, especially those in Narok, to sign up on the campaign’s digital platform to officially join the movement. This push follows the launch of a new website that handles digital fundraising and coordination, where people can donate as little as Sh10 to help the cause.
The senator noted that the site, lindamwananchi.com, saw a massive surge in traffic immediately after its launch, showing high public interest.
“What a start! Lindamwananchi.com went live yesterday, and thousands of you signed up. That’s the energy we need,” Sifuna said in an earlier update.
While the site recently faced some technical hitches and cyberattacks that forced it briefly offline for upgrades, Sifuna reassured the public that his team is working with experts to restore full access ahead of the rallies.
“Expectedly, there were thousands of malicious attacks on the website as well as hundreds of positive feedback on how we can improve,” he said.
“We have taken the site offline to address the issues and incorporate your ideas. We ask for your patience, kidogo tu,” Sifuna added.
The Linda Mwananchi platform serves as the backbone of a strategy to mix high-tech digital outreach with old-school, boots-on-the-ground activism. Through the website, supporters can sign up, pitch ideas, and help map out the movement’s next moves.
The senator views the platform as more than just a mobilization tool; it is a way to test the waters and gather data on grassroots support. These insights will likely shape his team’s political roadmap as they look toward the 2027 general election.
Linda Mwananchi Campaign Rallies Set Stage for Parallel NDC Clash Within ODM

Meanwhile, the Linda Mwananchi movement has announced it will hold its own National Delegates Convention (NDC) on March 27, 2026.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi confirmed that they will host a “people’s dialogue convention.” This event will run at the same time as the NDC organized by the opposing ODM faction, known as Linda Ground.
“On 27 March, we are holding an ODM people’s dialogue convention, which is going to run parallel to the NDC organised by the Linda Ground group,” Osotsi said.
Osotsi stated that Linda Mwananchi will boycott the gathering organized by the Linda Ground group. He labeled that meeting illegal and undemocratic, noting that several ODM members have already gone to court to challenge its legitimacy.
“Linda Mwananchi, we have made a decision that we are not going to participate in the National Delegates Convention that has been convened and organised by the Linda Ground Group because that NDC is illegal, undemocratic, and some of the ODM members have gone to court to question the illegitimacy and also illegality of that NDC,” Osotsi said.
He further claimed that the Linda Mwananchi group holds sway in 35 out of 47 counties. He expects the “genuine” delegates to attend their meeting, while accusing the opposing side of padding their convention with “fake” delegates.
