The Agnes Zani-led committee, which manages the 10-point agenda and the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) rollout, says it is ready to present its progress report.
The team originally planned to share the report with a joint UDA and ODM parliamentary group meeting before March 7, 2026. However, they pushed the presentation back to Tuesday.
The death of Emurua Dikkir MP Johana Ngeno caused this delay. The community buried the lawmaker last Friday at his Mogondo home in Narok County.
The Committee Overseeing the Implementation of the Ten Point Agenda and NADCO Report (COIN-10) intended to submit its findings by March 7, marking exactly one year since the team’s appointment.
“COIN-10 was aware of plans to have the joint parliamentary group just before the 7th of March, arrangements that were varied following the tragic demise of Johanna Ng’eno, the now-deceased MP for Emurua Dikkir constituency,” the committee said.
Zani’s team expects to present the report to President William Ruto and the ODM leadership during Tuesday’s joint parliamentary meeting. They will also release the findings to the public that same day.
The committee conducted deep consultations with government ministries, agencies, civil society groups, and citizens before drafting the final document.
Kalonzo Musyoka of the Wiper Patriotic Front and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah co-chair NADCO. The two leaders established the group in 2023 to ease political friction and suggest reforms for better governance and fairer elections.
President William Ruto and the late ODM leader Raila Odinga signed the Memorandum of Understanding that created NADCO.
“Pursuant to the establishment of the committee to oversee the implementation of the ten-point agenda and the NADCO report, the committee was mandated to conduct extensive consultations with stakeholders, including government ministries, departments, and agencies; civil society organizations; and Kenyans,” the statement issued on Saturday read.
Meanwhile, the ODM party plans to hold its National Delegates Convention (NDC) later this month. At the meeting, members will vote on a proposal to form a formal pact with UDA for the 2027 polls.
